Mrs says this bottle of grahams 10 yr tawny port has been open longer than it's 4 week period and was gonna chuck it, I said I would drink it. Tasted great too and now she has gone to bed, thing is I can't be arsed with a glass and just sat here Like a chav downin it from the bottle is that wrong?

My folks used to keep port in the booze cabinet for years, get it out at Christmas, and have one small glass. They're still alive ๐Ÿ™‚ Better off drinking it out of a hollowed out stilton...

Probably because picking them up and sipping like one would be expected to do from a glass was a bit of a non starter, no?
EDIT: This looks out of place now, doesn't it?
