Oh that's sad.
Will have to turn it up later on dad's as a mark of respect. ๐
"RIP"
Singularly inappropriate....?
alhtough agree with the sentiment ๐
Ironically, he was going quite deaf when I met him. He insisted it was just old age and not years of standing next to giant stacks of speakers. There really isn't anything more 'rock' than a full Marshall stack...
RIP Jim.
Mind you, he's probably enjoying the quiet.
I hope they get a 12 year old to play a terrible version of Stairway at the memorial.

Rock in peace.
RIP Jim,
Being an MK lad I done bits of electrical work in Marshalls. I used to work with a guy who worked there for over 20 years....his job was amp testing i.e. playing guitar all day long. He actually got bored in the end and left for something different....can you believe that!!
Very sad. A top man and very nice too. Had time for everyone.
Shame - I used to see him at the 80s guitar shows signing posters n such
never wanted to speak to him as I don't realy like marshall but he seemed a chipper old guy
I now have the 1 watt marshall limited edition just out - it is the quintisential RAWK!!!!! amp - so Jim thnaks for that

As a teenager all I ever wanted was a Marshall amp.
RIP, unlike my neighbours ๐ and thank you for so much pleasure...
