Bought smaller tent for festivals.
Put up tent and it started leaking same day. On one of the seams at the front, could see pin-pricks of daylight, where water was just dribbling through. Nothing serious but still not great for out-of-the-bag.
Back to store today. “It’s ok, don’t want a refund, just exchange the tent…”
None in stock. You could try a different tent? But we bought the footprint and carpet (only £20) on a special with the tent.
Now, I don’t mind GoOutdoors but Jesus wept, once something goes wrong and they don’t have stock in the same store, you go down some kind of maze of dealing with the store, central customer service, ringing stores that never answer the phone. Just to find out if they have the same model of tent in stock.
Looks like we have to get off our arses and find the model in another store but I’m damned if I’m driving around to different ones on a punt.
So is anyone within shouting distance of Bristol, so Cardiff, Gloucester, Swindon planning a trip there tomorrow that could check stock for me?

Chances are the new one will have the same issue if its the same model.
A bit of seamsealer on it and it will be fine
