Given the mass logic fails in his posts any threat would be mitigated by him quickly shooting himself in the foot in an attempt to work out how to disagree with everyone.
The logic is simple. President Trump is democratically elected but the opposition losers just refuse to give up. 😛

Trump tweets...
"Sen McCain should not be talking about the success or failure of a mission to the media"
1 hour later
"Ryan died on a winning missing (according to General Mattis) not a failure"

Then responds to appeals court, see you in court. Yo dawg, I heard you like rulings, so I'll see your court in court so you could rule while you rule.

Trust me it is not harsh at all. True. You should express your true emotion more often after all that is who you are, and if you cannot even express your opinion then what's the point of interweb? 😛

He is fighting against the law, if he really doesn't like it he can take legal avenues to change the constitution of the US, it's kind of simple really.

Don't they have any kind of adversarial system?
If a British PM tweeted that kind of nonsense they would be taken apart in PMQ's QT or just the normal media.

edit: the washingtin post seems to be doing just that.

Federal appeals court rules against Trump; ban not reinstated.
Supreme Court here we come.

Unfortunately for Trump, his own preferred candidate for the vacant SC position is against the ban. There's a few appeals courts to go through before it gets to the Supreme Court though.

@mikenewsmith - changing the constitution is a long winded process and even if he gets an amendment through Congress it still has to be ratified by a majority of the individual states (I think it's 2/3rds have to ratify it)

I thought this was very interesting in the guardian article:

Also in the opinion, the judges wrote that “it is well established that evidence of purpose” from a case’s context can be used in court – meaning that the states can cite Trump’s claims and tweets, for instance about his preference for Christians and call for a “complete and total shutdown of Muslims”, as admissible evidence.

Trump’s long history of controversial statements, the court suggested, can therefore be used as legal weapons against him.

Edit to my post above: an amendment to the constitution has to be ratified by three quarters of the states so currently 38.

It was odd that he said see you in court to a court

I think his main issue is going to be proving there is actually any danger from these nations - mo deaths- and that it is not unfair - he clearly warbled on about preference for christians.

There is a certain irony to him becoming the most powerful man in the world and then having even less freedom to express views than he did before as they will be held against him.

I love the way Trump seems to use "politics" as the reason he's being blocked in his tweets. Er, petal, you're the President of the United States of America, "Politics" is what you do, it's your entire raison d-etre, you moron!

And as i have said before, his Playground Politics is now coming back to bite him in the ass. Far from achieving great things, he'll come to nowt, as he just gets mired within petty party in-fighting, often from his OWN party.......

I've never thought Bannon would be able to influence real change. He seems to have spent his recent past being a gigantic internet troll, and does anyone equate internet troll with man of action? I mean it's the antithesis - to go from sitting round in your underpants shouting spite at the internet all day, to being the architect of change in the world's largest economy? Seems like a stretch.

Could be completely wrong, of course, and his seat on the national security council is very real. Just feel he's not equipped for politics as the art of the possible so will become marginalised.

Trump / Congress will change the law to make the ban work in the future and create new vetting procedures - the latter being his main election pledge - to achieve his objectives. This is all a bit if a side show really and is playing to Trump's rhetoric that the "liberal establishment" is responsible for weakening US security (note US judges are political appointments)

Obama banned all immigration from Iraq - what Trump has done is extend the list of countries with the added controversy of effectively cancelling existing Visas/Green Cards

jambalaya you really are turning into a pantomime villain with your sudden appearances on threads which inevitably result in a chorus of boos and hisses.

It really is a sad state of affairs when jambalaya courts derision on a daily basis, Chewwy endlessly churns out inane gibberish, and ninfan acts as if he's back in the school playground taunting anyone daft enough to engage him in conversation.

Why oh why ffs, can't we have the odd half-sensible right-winger who provides a half-coherent argument which at least stimulates some sort of vaguely interesting debate.

I refuse to believe that jambalaya Chewwy and ninfan represent as much as can be expected from the right-wing spectrum of British politics.

Which is fine is you are look ahead and thinking, but really nah it's just reactionary incompetence what's happening.

it'll be funny in 4 years time, when america comes to it's senses, and britian is standing at the sidelines excluded from the EU, shout but what about the special relationship, to the next US president! Obama banned immigration from Iraq and Trump is going to make an even longer list of countries practically impossible to get a US visa.

What Trump is doing is what he said he'd do and what his supporters voted for. Extreme vetting is coming.

These are the people a supposedly advanced nation actually wants to govern it. The so called 'developed' world takes it massive material advantages, no hunger, free education that all are entitled to etc. and says "It's not enough, I want more, more, MORE, just for me and no one else can have any".

It's just sad how much latent hatred was there all along, and how easily these liars tapped into it.

Just look at them.

From the NY Daily News

There is some truth — but also inaccuracies — in Trump's statement.

There is the matter of opinion and interpretation.

I do recall a few weeks ago how postrs where talking of Trump "walking back" his campaign promises. I see no such thing. This is what his voters voted for.

Abe should feel uncomfortable because Japan is sandwiched between two superpowers. America and China. Japan should choose one to bow to and guess which one Japan will bow to. 🙂

That's got me thinking about Blackadder quotes that are applicable to Trump.

Baldrick: Looked like a fat git to me.

Ebeneezer Blackadder: Well yes, but you mustn't judge people from outward appearances. Strip away the outer layers of a fat git, and inside you'll probably find a...

Baldrick: thin git.

This is, of course, from the time when wit and a bit of silly fun was regarded as good.

In the current climate laughing at Blackadder would be seen as elitist and therefore would earn you a kicking.

"Wot you ****ing laughing at?"

"That. It was really funny, wasn't it?"

"Errr, wot you mean, err, oh **** it, have sum ov vis."

Possibly heading up to a mates nr turnberry next week so I'll tweet him pics of us doing awesome jumps over and into the bunkers on his golf course, hopefully that should piss him off enough to tweet me.

I'm sure you have had some education and at some point you have learnt something, perhaps you could try again maybe find what happened and research it and come back with the real answer.

Yes he can change vetting and all that which is legal if it applies within the law/constitution but by his own admission the bad ones will have got in by now so whats the point. He is setting his own traps and walking into them, if all you need to do is mention his kids to get a grumpy tweet then he will be out. He has no self control.
