Trump's turned up to the G8 summit wondering why his buddy Putin's not invited. Memory and understanding of a goldfish.

Trump blamed the expulsion on President Obama and PM Trudeau. Trudeau wasn't elected until the following year.
Apparently Trump's the only person President Putin will speak to. Why might that be then? 🤔
Blimey, this is quite something from a fanatical far-right supporter of Donald Trump but it shows what Trump is up against should he decide to take the United States into another war.

I believe that Marjorie Taylor Greene is quite influential in the MAGA movement.
She's infamous for her "Jewish space laser" comment and probably antisemitic, but she's entirely right that most of Trump's base have no desire to enter a war on Israel's behalf, or even fund them.

Every country involved and all over the world can be happy, successful, and rich if we all work together and seek peace and prosperity.
Certainly doesn't sound like your typical 'far right' supporter. Doesn't really sound far right at all in fact. Is this the bit where we don't trust her?
Almost seems like her account was hacked. Any update on her insider trading.

Has somebody changed her meds? Did someone else post that using her account, while she’s drunk and passed out in the bathroom? I can’t believe I’m actually posting this but I actually agree with her! I did actually post a reply to her more or less saying that.
Now I feel slightly soiled, I’m going go and wash my hands…

I haven't been this conflicted since Gillian Anderson played Margaret Thatcher in The Crown!
Hang on a second.
mobile phone service for a monthly fee of $47.45
...
AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile, which all offer phone service starting at less than $40 a month
How much?! I pay £8 per month and that's not even the cheapest plan.
Anyway, surely the price should be $45.47? It irks me that it's backwards.
Would anybody like to watch a North Korean news report on the trump birthday parade? If not you should probably watch it anyway.
It irks me that it's backwards.
It has to be as obvious as possible that its a tactic to wring every cent out of Trump supporters so that you have a self selected dataset of the vulnerable and gullible - sign up to this and you're flagging yourself as sufficiently blinkered to continue ponying up cash unquestioningly for every subsequent request.

Oh, definitely.
It still irks me that it's backward!
No credit check required, there's a surprise!
surely the price should be $45.47?
But that's less money!

Internet services/broadband or mobile services including data are a ****ing hellish expense in some areas of the U.S.
BBC reporting Trump.
We've just had the third post from the US president in quick succession, in which he says: "UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!"
In the previous two, Trump had said "we now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran", and claimed to know where the Iranian leader is, saying: "We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now".
I'm curious as to who the OEM is for the phone... I'm guessing it will be some ultra cheap Chinese jobbie and he won't see any irony in that.
Much like his watches that were cobbled together from off the shelf parts from Ali-express..

I wasn't aware that the US was at war with Iran. WTAF is going on? Let's hope the orange shitgibbon gets so over excited his heart gives out.
It's looking really iffy.
B1 bombers are posturing about.
He really is the biggest shitbag and man baby.
Everyone’s waiting for Hegseth’s Signal chat and it’ll become abundantly clear as according to Magas, operational information is no longer Top Secret. But then again Donnie’s probably still pi$$ed at Pete for not getting a big enough rent-a-mob to attend his parade - less than 10,000 showed up when they were expecting 200,000. Of course nothing to do with those thousands of people from across the world who applied online and no-showed.
He really is the biggest shitbag and man baby.
Trump. More like follow through. A shit stain on the underpants of the world.
They have already planned this for years
Or maybe they’re literally making it up as they go along, sketched out on the back of a rag packet on Air Force One?
Hmmmmm…. I wonder which?
I’m sure we’ll all get to hear all about it anyway, when JD Vance inadvertently adds Oprah Winfrey to the inner circle’s WhatsApp group in the early hours of tomorrow morning, just before they start with the bunker busters
I would say binner's view is probably more accurate than chewkw's.

Where?
If the US do strike Iran then I think there will be asymmetric retaliation against American citizens in pretty short order. The "Unconditional Surrender" demand will be used to motivate radicalised extremists and it will be impossible to protect against it.
Probably nothing of the scale of 9/11 but there will be something that will shock the West.
My bigger concern is UK forces get dragged into this shitshow again. If the US didn't learn from Iraq, let's hope we did.
The latest Court process for deployment of the NG in California has finished inconclusively.
This one was about the right of a judge to review a Presidential Authority, which was the defendants' case. Both sides said their piece, the Appeal Court panel asked them some questions, posed scenarios and that was it, for now.
My understanding is that it all hinges on Friday's return to Judge Breyer for him to hear the full case; his ruling last week was only temporary, and then almost immediately postponed on appeal.
The full case before Judge Breyer will be held to a higher burden of proof than the temporary order. The Court of Appeal is currently deliberating its decision and could issue that at any time.
I don't know what happens if the Court of Appeal finds against California before the full judgement by Judge Breyer. It makes sense to me to wait to see if he finds against California, but I'm not subject to US politics in that narrow sense

Alan Sugar produced way too high quality products to really convince as the face of UK Apprentice.

I presume restoring John Bolton's security remains off Trump's Iranian Escalation to-do list
Well Trump’s ideas about “peace” are clearer than ever: ethnic cleansing of Gaza and the West Bank and neutering any threat from Iran via force not agreements.
The so-called West criticises Iran for using armed proxies like the Houthis in Yemen, or Hezbollah. Yet I can't see much difference in how the US is now using Israel with regards to Iran.
Sometimes the tail wags the dog but 90% of the time it doesn't.
Well Trump’s ideas about “peace” are clearer than ever: ethnic cleansing of Gaza and the West Bank and neutering any threat from Iran via force not agreements.
To be fair to the mad orange bastard, he’s consistent. That’s obviously been the goal since his frankly insane ‘Gaza-on-sea’video.
Yep, Israel have played Trump for a fool, and he is desperately trying to portray that he was involved in the planning and decision making to try and preserve his inflated ego.
I found the thought that this analysis might be accurate truly depressing :
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/jun/17/trump-iran-g7-europe-israel-deal
Firstly because it focuses on Trump's huge contempt for Europe and the fact that European leaders are totally spineless and incapable of standing up to him :
Judging by his statements and actions over the past 48 hours, Trump is also trying to demonstrate that any deal is seen to be on his terms, and that he is sole decision-maker. It is an attempted display of raw power not just to Iran, but to Europe.
In a move designed to underline Europe’s irrelevance and indeed his contempt for the multilateralism symbolised by the G7, Trump abandoned the Canadian summit a day early.
One western diplomat admitted they had been reduced to sending messages to the Iranians about a US-Israeli strategy about which they had not been consulted let alone approved.
I had actually hoped that the European countries in the G7 would put intense pressure on Trump to in turn put intense pressure on Netanyahu to stop the war against Iran.
Not simply because Netanyahu's far-right genocidal government is criminal and a threat to global peace, but also because his attack on Iran is very likely to plunge the world into a global recession.
According to that analysis they were too spinless.
And secondly because Netanyahu's plan appears to be working beautifully :
In the interests of securing any kind of communique, the European leaders retreated, leaving a sparse eight sentences that in effect implicitly endorsed Israel’s actions by saying we “affirm that Israel has a right to defend itself. We reiterate our support for the security of Israel.”
Friedrich Merz, the German chancellor, expressed his utmost respect for the Israelis’ courage, saying they were doing the rest of the world’s dirty work.
Rather than condemning Israel for war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, and launching an unprovoked attack on a neighbour, European politicians are queuing up to support Netanyahu and his far-right government.
It must all be music to Netanyahu's rather ample ears. I bet he can't believe his luck.
Yep, Israel have everyone has played Trump for a fool
It feels like his journey from unloved child to despised adult is almost complete.
Such a ridiculous amount of money and time in a life, desperately trying to buy love, respect and adulation .
Poor donny,a failure to the very end.
I blame the parents 😉
everyone has played Trump for a fool
I don't think that is the case, he might be a spoiled rich brat and bully with an ego the size of a planet and an intellect the size of a pea, but he has leveraged that throughout his life for his benefit and for the misfortune of most people he has dealt with, even Elon has recently found that out.
I think that is just a very clear example of the way that western society is rigged to favour those with wealth and power to the detriment of the rest of us, rather than any brilliance by Trump.
And once again we see all the other weak cowardly "leaders" Starmer and his European counterparts fall into line. I hope people see this cowardice clearly and realise it isn't just in this instance, this is also how they treat economics, complete capitulation to the US and the oligarchs.
When the centrists try and justify the economic war being waged on the rest of us by the oligarchs, try to justify inaction and austerity, just look at the people selling us the lie and how they deal with this situation and realise their spineless character, realise that they would rather punch down on the disabled and the most needy rather than stand up against greed and inequality from those they perceive as powerful.
Most of STW looked at what Boris Johnson offered and realised he was a complete liar, but what exactly differentiates Starmer, Macron, Merz, they sell 99% of the same lies as Boris and Trump.
A lot of the maga commentators pushed Trump as a man of peace compared to Biden, so theyre not very happy at him making them look this daft, they seem happy enough with him giving netenyahu the green light to go after palestinians, hezbollah, even the air bombardment of the Houthis, but for some reason bombing the crap out of iran over mythical WMDs upsets them ( I wonder if its because that might weaken Putin whom they idolise)
A fun read - https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/jun/17/trump-iran-israel-nuclear
Tulsi Gabbard, the US director of national intelligence, delivered a concise verdict during congressional testimony this March: the intelligence community “continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and supreme leader Khomeini [sic] has not authorized the nuclear weapons program that he suspended in 2003”.
As he rushed back to Washington on Tuesday morning, Donald Trump swatted aside the assessment from the official that he handpicked to deliver him information from 18 US intelligence agencies. “I don’t care what she said,” said Trump. “I think they were very close to having one.”
We've been here before with Iraqi WMDs. Add a sugar coating of 'we've had enough of experts' populist mindset....and what could possibly go wrong.....
