I've a rare day off today and it's freezing but dry so I'm thinking of taking my Lab to the Lakes for the day.
He's a rescue and is still being socialised so I can't let him off the lead as we are still working on recall so I'm just after an idea of an area that's pretty quiet where he can get used to other areas but still meet up with people to work on his socialisation.
Any ideas of a walk of about an Hour or so ?

Can't imagine many places will be busy today. It's bloody freezing!
So if you still want to meet folk, my suggestion would be to head for the honeypots you usually avoid like the plague - Tarn Hows maybe, Elterwater, Loughrigg Terrace....
