The council just stick up enforecment signs but have not fined one person in the last 10 years.

You think thats bad, someone took the trouble of collecting their dogs "business" into a nice tesco's carrier bag and then instead of depositing it in the bin 50 yards further down the pavement they hung it on the "welcome to *******" sign on the edge of our village.
Therefore proclaiming our village to be the dog poop capital of the world.
I have a plan, I am going to become a "poop catcher" in the same way as an accident chaser, taking pics and sending them to the council on a no win no fee basis, splitting any fines collected 50:50 with the council, catch one a day (which around our way is realistic) thats £365k / year, 50% of which can go into the public coffers... so thats win win.....
Is this how people in Prestwich occupy themselves? 😯
I work in Barrow-in-Furness; the dog-shit capital of Europe. It is quite unbelievable.
On Thursday last week, while playing dog-egg hopscotch, I saw a lad in his mid 20s pick up the freshly pulled dog-toffee deposited by his pooch and bag it. When I came out of the coop, there was the bag-o-bob left at the side of the path. Lad nowhere in sight. He'll be back in a bit, I thought; alas no, it was still there the following day and I bet it'll still be there on Monday too 🙁
Hmmm... A turd-watch TV programme.

Lol pics took ten minutes and the collage another ten. I sent it to the local paper to complain about the problem but they were not interested. They probably recognised that I'm a fruit loop!
