... and my insurance doesn't cover it ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

If he had eaten someone elses carpet their insurance would have covered it, and his pet insurance would cover it.... just not my carpet!

So, anyone recommend a contents policy that does cover your dog eating your carpet, and when the renewal comes through next month, I can change, before buying a new carpet!!

Mine only eats lino so it is cheaper to replace than carpet!
Replace your carpet with lino ๐Ÿ™‚

Sounds like a dog which is left on its own all day - a distressing situation for any pack animal. If that's the case, I would try to deal with the issue before worrying about insurance cover.

when my dads dog was a pup she used to dig out a piece or strand of carpet from under the door plate. stand and look at you and as soon as you went to grab her she'd run off inravelling the carpet

i found it hilarious.....they did'nt
