Just wondering as I arrived home from walking the dogs to discover this lot sitting on my drive!

I'm guessing it's from one of the local tree surgeons, but I may have to have a bit of a think about where it's all going to go - we've not been emptying the woodstore at the rate I'd imagined given the mild weather. Not going to look a gift horse in the mouth though, and it gives me an excuse to break out the big Gransfors Bruks 🙂

I've been mooching off several local tree surgeons since we got the stove fitted - I'm guessing one of them had a job nearby and decided to leave a gift.

not since he started using the creams and antibiotics as prescribed.

🙂

Not when I last checked.

I have a ring issue though.

I've nowhere to store them as all my shed are full. I dont know how folks that sell logs can come to part with them just for money. Its such hard graft.

Nice. But that bike trailer looks interesting, is it a custom job?

Not yours, fine trailer though it might be, ditch_jockey's. The bikey one by the door in the first pic.

Can't remember the make of the trailer - I bought it off the classifieds here for about £100 and gave it a bit of a tart up (it's due another respray this spring!) It does a great job for us though - takes 6 bikes and a 120L bag on the rack over the axle, gets towed with a 7 seater Touran, so I can haul one of our Bike Club coaching sessions without having to faff about with a minibus.

The only downside is that it is sometimes a bit of a faff getting all the bikes in and seated properly - when we replace it, I think we'll go for one of the little Burtech trailers, as they're a lot easier to load.
