Don't have asthma and never had hay fever until the last couple of years, getting ready for it to kick in with the tree pollen, not good for someone who builds trails in the forest.

Funny you should mention it, I thought it was the Saharan dust cloud but as the cloud seems to have disappeared and my chest is still tight and the Ventolin is out. Hey ho! 6 asthma free months is ok.

Yup, me. Usually starts with a spring cold, then doesn't go away until a long dry warm spell. Just struggling out of my cold and getting very wheezy. I ****ing hate it - and as stated above, it usually kicks in just as I'm upping my training (only to lose all the fitness I gained over the preceding months). Asthma - I shit on you!

Maybe. Had my review the other day and hit the peak flow meter at 810. Nurse thought I'd flicked it with my finger! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hay Fever is a real downer though - if I take the medication I'm a zombie for 3 or 4 days after starting. If I don't then I look and feel like I've got the mother of all colds for a couple of days.

Bah.

What you need is a purple inhaler, seritide I think. It's ace stuff.

It could also be triggered by dust mite if I am not mistaken.

I used to have terrible asthma from when I had whooping cough age 5-6 but smoking some primo skunk fixed it for me. Actually had pretty bad hayfever too and that's also gone...

But you end up with a knackered air tube and end up having to gargle with a salt solution ๐Ÿ™„ Use sparingly ๐Ÿ’ก
