Or if you sit down for too long, it feels like there is something crawling in my veins!!!

Always had it, bloody horrid feeling, must be beer o'clock.

I know exactly what you mean. It's very irritating, particularly when you're trying to get to sleep.

Drac has it right, it is RLS. It is treatable.

RLS seems to be it, should probably stop drinking and get more sleep, heyho

That must be so annoying! I feel sick/nausea when I get too tired and I can hardly eat. Nobody believes me!

Considered taking an iron supplement? Only anecdotal evidence but since I started taking one in the run-up to donating blood I don't get RLS afterwards. Can easily see a long day out on the bike doing similar.

(Also - do you take any hayfever medicine / anti-histamines when out on the bike, 'cos there's a tenuous link between those and RLS too)
