Actually it's a neighbour's house, I'm not that fussed about football myself.

Thought it was worth sharing though.

Yes I like it ..........it's nice and subtle and not too vulgar.

I wish my neighbour did that sort of stuff to his house. Sadly, he seems more interested in gardening.

Based on today's performance I doubt it will stay up long.

is there an inverse correlation between people who actually follow football and people who just use the national team as an excuse for jingoism?

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but chakaping neighbour's house appears to be a semi-detached house. In other words, it is partly "attached" to his. Therefore I am not entirely convinced about the wisdom of setting fire to anything.

I am also unconvinced about the aesthetic advantages which a burnt out shell would offer.

Nor whether the inconvenience of being held on murder charges, put on trial, and receiving a lengthy custodial sentence, is fully justified.

But other than that, not a bad suggestion.

I doubt they own a vectra, look at the size of the house. He's clearly far too wealthy for a Vauxhall (as presumably is chakaping) 😉

I'd expect that sort of activity on our street where the average earnings are considerably lower.

Hmmm, granted ernie, my plan does appear to have a few drawbacks 😳 But if that is attached to the OP's, chakaking needs to sort that garden!

Personally I have no problem with it at all. It's when it's still there in 8 months and it's all ragged and tattered....

It's not the house connected to mine unfortunately, it's up the end of the road. And I'm not sneering at the guy, it just makes me laugh because it's so OTT.

Spare a thought for the poor child who'll get no natural light for the next month because the three lions are blocking out her bedroom window.

Is something happening then?

Blimy we've not even got a teeny weeny flagette around these parts. I have however made my own medium sized flag, which will be strung from the box room window on June 11th.

I thought those matches were in relation to the possible England tactics for the world cup - strike anywhere

Could the matches be to light the burning tyre? A popular way to torch someone in South Africa
