[#1716195]

Buying new Fox F120's soon to replace some OEM 2007 RL 120 off an old bike - told one mate who didn't seem to have any issues (Mate2). Spoke to another (Mate1) and his words to him (Mate2) were:

"have you heard about the new Forks"
"Yes"
"Why does he want those?"
"Its his money and he's selling other stuff to put towards them"
"He's got loads of money there"

Why when you study till you are 25, get a professional degree and Diplomas (This is not showing off BTW !!) then work hard, have quite a tresssfull job and have to keep your professional fees and professional status going on conferences and courses do people still stick the knife in and keep going on about how much money you earn etc etc?

Some people are just like that - "Why's X want to do Y". Simple fact is that they think they've got life sussed, and anyone who deviates from the way they'd do things is a mug. Not generally a jealousy thing in my book.

I think he's just taking issue with a poor choice of fork brand/UK distributor ๐Ÿ˜‰

It's easy, don't hang round with poor people.

For what it's worth, I've followed a similar path as you, earn good money and still couldn't justify those forks. ๐Ÿ˜‰

At 25 I had loooooads of money. At 35 I have money, (just), I wouldn't worry about it. By the time you have kids & a mortgage you'll be just as skint as everyone else.

See - the annonymous STW members ganging up on someone again who posts a thread about people giving other people a hard time for the hard earned money they earn !! Might be best if people lokk at themselves and ask why they are having a go at someone who is not willy waving but posting a genuine post about something!!

My bank / credit card company give me a hard time, but that's their job I suppose. People will always be opinionated, you cant change that, so why worry?

in which bits has anyone judged you ? Don't you think you might be teased a little for complaining you're too rich ?

I have plenty of poor friends, and that is their choice.

I like to think when i pull up in my 911 with bike rack on it gives them the motivation to better themselves!

There was only one way this thread was going...but above all, I have to say:

My heart goes out to you. It must be an awful burden to carry round.

and
To be honest - I am glad I dont live in your world. It sounds crap.

I wasnt referring to any of the posts Simon, I meant 'mate 1' and 'mate 2' (odd names, but there you go).

I was going to type that I have wasted 5 minutes of my life reading this pointless thread but then decided that typing a response would waste even more of my time so I'm not going to reply at all ๐Ÿ˜‰

You should live like a pauper, because that's what some others have to do.

Let them touch the car? Not a chance. I do pay them 1 Flapjack each for getting there early to ensure I have a parking space right next to the Cafe and shop though.

I'd just be thinking what a cock you looked

Jealousy muggles is a such a lower class perspective.
