They are not real people, but actually software. Did you think there was really people out there with the characteristics of some of the regular posters on STW?

Lordy.

It is all about setting your employers expectations to a suitably low level.

Student + between college and university + plus injured = living on STW.

And also most IT workers have plenty of unrestricted access to computers, plus STW doesn't come under games or porn, so not often blocked by internet site filter things.

I make most of my money by buying items off the STW classifieds at cheap prices then selling them on ebay or other forums for a profit. Hence i need to be on here alot to get the bargains before anyone else.

I guess some also work for themselves, so they can do what they like with their time.

Seem to be quite a few who are always on here, though.

I work in IT, so a lot of my job involves waiting for installers to complete, scans to run etc. Rather than sit watching little blue bars crawl across the screen, I'll duck on here for 30 seconds here and there.

iPhone = STW access without hitting company filtering. ๐Ÿ˜€

Plus I'm a developer so have a fair bit of "hourglass time" while doing builds, checking out large numbers of files etc.

Well, sort of.

They work in utter non-jobs at QUANGOS so look forward to them tripling their post rate in the not too distant future!
