Up at Gisburn today and i was riding the new downhill 'skills' bit when a nice man with a whacker plate asked me if i wanted to ride the rest of the trail down to the firetrack. He told me I was the first person to ride this section, and jolly good fun it was too.
Is it like stars and the first person to discover them gets to name them, or is that a little optimistic?

Go on, what would you call it if you got the chance?
But no, I think you get to name natural stuff that you're first to find or experience (stars or rock climbing routes), but if someone else has made it, it's probably their call 😉
