I'm thinking of buying a Bell Bullit, but haven't found anywhere local to try one on. I'm a medium in a Super DH...

They fit like no other helmet I’ve tried…

I couldn’t explain exactly what it is, but the head shape is all kinds of wrong!

For reference I’m a schuberth, shoei, shark shape.

Have you got an extras part in a moon landing remake?

😉🤣🙃

Why not measure yir heid, then check the size guide online and call a dealer,or go on a few motorbike forums and ask there.

Retro design from when they didn't understand how to make FF helmets but just put chinbars onto open face (AKA piss-pot) helmets.

If you ride in cold(ish) or wet weather you'll be constantly misting up the visor, no matter what you do.

Buy a couple of sizes from sportsbikeshop and return the size(s) that don't fit.

They have an excellent and free returns policy.

years ago used to have a bell M2 motorbike helmet and it fitted perfectly , got one of their mtb helmets and never felt that it was that good a fit

I had (still have) a Bell Bullitt. They look cool especially with the bubble visor but are cold, noisy and uncomfortable (there is little in the way of padding inside). It also tended to try and lift at anything above 60mph. I think it was a large but if you're near Bournemouth you're welcome to try it on.

My new Shoei Neotec 2 is so much nicer.

If you want retro-ish have you considered this one: https://nexx-helmets.com/en/helmets/x-g100r/

I have one and it fits very similar to my other Shark helmet. It is a little bit noisier but I don't have misting issues, although I avoid riding in the wet so have only been caught in showers so far.

If you shop around you should find it cheaper - I paid around half that a year ago.

I certainly wouldn't be buying a helmet from a shop that allows mail order returns - who knows what possibly numerous pervious "owners" might have done to it or deposited inside!

Try before you buy though - I'd love an Arai but they just don't fit me whilst Shoei's fit like a glove.
