with my dodgy heart.
feeling a bit nervous, go into hospital tomorrow for the next attempt to get my heart back to normal.
endoscopy for starters to look at my esophagus (anyone know what this has got to do with the heart?), never had a pipe down and not looking forward to it at all.
the friday morning, in for a cardiac ablation, been told it is a 6ish hr procedure where you have to be conscious.
can honstly say i have never been so worried/scared in my life.
fingers crossed and all that. ๐

The bad news is .... well I cant think of any really.
But the very best of luck! Make sure to come back and give us a blow by blow account.

All the best big guy, even if you are a wazzack ๐
Best of lucky fella
Ive had the endoscopy, camera down the throat, they either spray your throat with a numbing spray, the camera looks like a black hosepipe with a light in the end of it,youre asked to lie on your side, and slowly they put the camera in your mouth, theres a mouth guard to stop you biting it, IT DOESNT HURT, DURING OR AFTER,a nurse will probably hold your arm, i asked if he was just being freindly, he said people have tried to pull the camera out, so thats why he held my arm.
After you get some toast and biscuits and a cup of tea.
Askm questions, and watch the tv screen, if you want to , its all hi tech
Best wishes .
Yep, good luck and all.
Good luck big fella.
Best wishes Ton,please update us ASAP
Hope all goes well Ton.
Keep thinking of the end result, hopefully that will help you through it.

best thing you can do during an endoscopy ton is to relax and go with it, it gets loads better when you work this out. best of luck chap.
Good luck, lets hope it they can work out whats going on and you can be back riding as hard as ever soon enough.
Good luck to you sir, even though we've never formally interacted, I know you're a good guy and wish you the very best of luck, hope it all goes well.
Good luck ton, like others I have had the camera and tbh it was a bit of a letdown, I was told to bring someone and be prepared to get a taxi home but I did not need anyone and drove home, piece o piss
Endoscopy is a piece of piss. You'll love it - it's a hoot!
Its nothing to worry about, its just the first stage on your road to recovery... thats what it is and as such, you should be looking forward to it!

Good luck Ton
Good luck matey and if there's any injections involved don't be concerned when they tell you " you'll only feel a little prick" ๐
Bill

Pink, itchy and extra extra large coming raight up owd cock!
Good luck Tony...
Keep us in the loop eh?
Is the endoscopy actually a TOE? ie an echocardiogram done via an endoscope in the oesophagus rather than the usual through-the-chest-wall view? A pretty routine way of getting better views of some bits of the heart if so...
...and I know dozens of people who have had ablations with no problems.
Fist pie them if you have to!
Good luck mate, hope it all goes well.
Best of luck. looking forward to hearing about your next 'proper' ride.
Jeeze, MTFU Ton yer big pansy, or I'll be up there to sort you out. ๐ก
