Mmm there is definately more to this than what that news report says. Who knows what he's been charged with? Has to be more than breach of the peace as that just wouldn't happen!! I wonder .... ponders what ACTUALLY happened!

Sometimes the law does seem to act totally in reverse in this country. Rare occasions, but sometimes things get taken by the letter of the law, rather than with common sense. Personally wouldnt blame him at all.

However, Sheriff Robert McCreadie ignored the plea for mercy and said: "If you were concerned about matters you should contact the police, not enter a house and threaten to kill someone. You can't take matters into your own hands the way you did."
sympathy for his actions but the death threat is probably the reason for the sentence
