I'm about to install Windows 7 on my Mac. ๐ฏ
Never done this before. What's the best approach to security, regarding software & settings. There seems to be so much security software stuff out there, it's getting confusing.
Any advice/pointers/sage observations welcome...
Learn how to use apostrophes.
It isn't hard.
HTH.
Learn not to be a pedantic arse. It isn't hard, etc etc. (I'm a grammar nazi, but not for one typo..!)
OP > A combination of Microsoft Security Essentials and staying off porn sites is free and sufficient.
Anybody else trying to work out what the use of apostrophes has to do with using windows on a Mac ?anker

Your comment on porn sites...I laughed ๐
You think that Microsoft Security Essentials is enough?
I'm asking because it seems too easy. I had a feeling that securing my system would involve installing a bunch of varied stuff.
I've got Windows 7 on my iMac, running through Parallels, and installed avast, and zone alarm as I would have done if I was using a PC, and not a Mac.
All seems to be working fine, but then, I seldom fire up Windows 7.
[edit - now with a few more apostrophes just to spice things up a bit]
