Anyone know of a decent pub in that area? Ideally one that's easy to find from the A419 (or is it the A417 at that point. Anyway, the big Swindon/Gloucester dual carriageway).

How posh? Cricklade Hotel & Country Club is easy enough to find if you're out to impress.
You could try the George in South Cerney (a little North of Cricklade)
