I'm still deciding where to go on holiday with my wife, toddler and Mum and dog. Holiday cottages seem well priced and if my first year school camp memories are correct it looks pretty stunning.
I'm looking for nice walks, beaches not too far away, good riding for me, nice pubs etc.
What say yee STW?

Dartmoor is great.
South Devon beaches at most an hour's drive away, even from the middle of the moor.
North Cornwalls even better beaches are not really that far away either.
