any one stupid enough to attach their neck to some thing that's going to be knock down deserves to die, if only to remove their dna from the gene pool. its called natural selection.
aye, and all the other people throughout history that were prepared to die for a cause* they believed in. 🙄
*This does not indicate whether or not I think the eviction should occur.
Okay this thread has descended into silliness now...
its a stupid thing to die for, i can think of a whole list of things worth dieing for, this is not one of them.

Well go on then, give us a clue.
that was not what you said you said you were happy to see them die

How much food?
We could have a whip-round.
I'd die for Vanessa Redgrave's right to associate herself with silly causes
I'd die for Vanessa Redgrave's right to associate herself with silly causes
Could I watch? I'd pay good money for that... 😕

what i should have said is that i have little sympathy for people that die in ways that they could have easily avoided if it wasnt for the fool hardy and stupid decisions made buy the individual that dies !like people that play chicken with trains and die, i see these people in the same way.
I'd die for an evening with Joanne Whalley, circa Edge of Darkness/Singing Detective.
Well, not die, as such, but I'd certainly put myself in harms way for a few minutes.
Say, riding through Salford, naked apart from a Sheffield United shirt and a £50.00 note hanging out of the crack of my bum.
That sort of thing, y'know.
Maybe their having a fun run?
The rent-a-activists are appealing for donations here:

Even offering advice as to what to bring!
[i]
Be Prepared
Things to bring:
-warm clothes
-food
-water bottle
-sleeping bag and roll mat
-notepads, pencils
-torches
-cameras for taking photo evidence
-clean phone
Things not to bring:
-offensive weapons
-Things you would not like the police to take off you
Food
A vegan kitchen is running. We will be asking for donations to cover our costs, but it may be an early target of the Bailiffs, so please bring extra food.
Sleeping arrangements
Sleeping space is available in caravans and residents’ homes but we encourage you to bring a tent, and you are welcome to sleep over anytime. Please bring a sleeping bag if you can, and a roll mat is highly recommended especially since most of the tent space is on hard ground.

Just emailed them to ask if they do group booking discounts and a upgrade on the accommodation?
😉
I'd also be prepared to die for the right of the people of Salford not to have to see either Rusty Spanner or Vanessa Redgrave riding around naked with currency sticking out of their bums.
Back in the day, I'd have probably have let Vanessa Redgrave ride around naked. A long time before she became barking mad cat-woman, obviously
Maybe their having a fun run?
You'd fit right in.
I'll donate a water bottle and a dictionary.
-cameras for taking photo evidence
Pro Tip : when braking the law, dont take photographic evidence.
Best thing the baliffs could do is leave it a few weeks, not even show up, show no interest at all..... Let everyone get bored,
Then move in on the foulest, wettest day that comes along in November...
I'd bet they won't be chaining themselves up in 5 degrees and horizontal rain!
A vegan kitchen is running.
Seriously?
Are omnivores not allowed to "protest"?
That's DISCRIMINATION! 😉
they should just use the army, should take a few changer II tanks and some squadies about 15 minuets.

That put me off too, I was hoping for at least a McDees or Burger King, never mind, think I will book somewhere a bit more chilled, like Sirte.
Do you think its being made to eat crap cheese that makes vegans so prone to violent confrontations with the authorities.
I've tried that vegan cheddar. Its like chewing one of those squeaky dog toys thats been punctured. If I had to eat that instead of Mature Stilton and Tasty Lancs I reckon I'd be stockpiling petrol bombs too
Vegan cheese? What's that then, cos it aint cheese!
BACON POWER!!!!
I think it's clear from this that veganism reverses all the good that protein did for developing modern human brains.
supervisor: Mr. Dent, some factual information for you. Have you any idea how much damage that bulldozer would suffer if I just let it roll straight over you?
Arthur Dent: How much?
Supervisor: none at all!
Exactly my point! If I was deprived of decent cheese there's no saying to what lengths I'd go to to extract my righteous vengeance on society
Right, I think I've got the hang of this now:
I'd be prepared to put myself out a bit so Binners doesn't have to see me, OR/AND the modern day Vanessa Redgrave riding round Salford, naked, on a tandem, with cash money hanging out of our bike racks.
BUT, I'd definitely suffer serious inconvenience, up to and including a chinese burn, to see the late Ingrid Pitt elbows deep in vegan concrete/cheese:

I'm glad we got that one sorted out.

I brought some tesco value cheese once, made me want to hurt people.

Sussed it,
The professional protesters are actually agents provocateurs
a couple of days of lentils burgers and the travellers will be off
What I don't understand is why the travellers won't go live in the council property offered to them. I heard an interview on the radio that said it was because they wanted to preserve their traditional way of life
I think it's entirely to do with the fact that the family structures are likely to become fractured and scattered around various estates and/or towns..
Many travellers will have large families and will be living closely as a tight family unit next to and alongside mum, dad, siblings, grandparents, and often many aunties, uncles and cousins..
it is unlikely that any council would be able, even if inclined to, to provide the sort of accommodation that would prevent these family units from being decimated..
This is, I believe, one of the central points in the conflict.. unfortunately it's a point which is shamefully overlooked by the media..
Yunki - shshhhh... there're adults talking here! 😉
I knew some of these rent a wimps from uni, well there really wimpy. One tried it on(touched her ass) with my misses at a party so a beat his ****ing head in, his well hard mates just stood their and screamed at me to stop. like girls..
