D90 iso 3200 night ...

few pics for the photog's out there.

D90 did quite a good job considering iso 3200 and pitch black.
Used Hope4LED as a head torch/fill in and on board flash.
sigma 10-20 zoom.
shutter priority, 1/160.

Yep, nothing wrong with those, but you cheated using the flash.

Have you seen the[url= http://gizmodo.com/5386429/nikon-d3s-hands-on-photos-and-video-dslr-night-vision-is-a-beautiful-thing ]D3S shots?[/url] ISO 12800 looks great.

Well, you'd never get those shots without a flash...

You could have shot on a much faster ISO, given the focal length - maybe 1/15th to 1/30th shutter speed.

yep, used for the last few pics only though..

TBH i expected them all to turn out a grainy mush.

the D3s look good for that iso.
