Anyone know if it's possible to get Oakley sunnies like Radar model or similar in prescription. I tried but they are limited in their range of prescription strength. My sph of +2.5 seems impossible. Any pointers welcome

I've not bought from them, but the RXSport website allows you to filter by prescription.

Thanks frogstomp. They were promising, but don't go high enough on the prescription numbers.

I think you generally need to go for less curved lenses if it’s a higher prescription. Julbo do a bunch of them too, through opticians.

I have some prescription cheap Oakley as my day to day bash about glasses. Got them from here. Service was fine, took about a week to arrive - they are based in Bolton.

I've got Rad8 505's, close fitting and curved. Ultraclean/ultrathin and photochromatic goes from clear for night to middling dark for sunny days.

My prescription is the opposite of yours at -3.50 but they might be worth a look as my prescription was too strong for some other frames.

Have a look at the Rudy frames.my local optician sorted them out. They have reactive lenses that work really well, not cheap though.

I ended up with some bolle safety glasses- they're a simpler lens shape so they can fit pretty much any prescription spec you need, they're made for tradies after all.

Lookswise, well, they're a bit NHS/special needs. But then most cycling glasses are designed to make you look like a knob so at least mine made me look like a knob cheaply.

I'm about -10 each eye. Can't find any lenses to do that in cycling glasses and have to use inserts.
