Nice to see some wickets falling at the MCG, not a certainty either way but hopefully England can keep the total down and have something to go for.

The texts have started coming in here, cracking last 3 balls could have done with that a bit earlier, not confident England will use all 50 overs...

Just a little bit of fight would be nice

The Kiwi's seem to be in fine nick.

Less said about England's short and slow bowling approach the better ๐Ÿ˜•

It's the only time I'd like to have Sky telly, TMS is excellent as per, but I'd still like to watch some of it.

http://www.icc-cricket.com/cricket-world-cup/match/cwc-2015/2 The good bits...

Watching the Ozzies smash it round was painful, I think watching England will be worse

Don't think I saw the sun up there when I was back...
12 runs off the pace already the start looked like they were getting set to chase 350 over 2 days.
And then it gets worse

If bell gets a double hundred, we still need 150 from the rest 8o

Looks like that prediction of 248 in 44 is wildly optimistic on both counts.

Time for some Dunkirk spirit eh lads?

The only positive is perhaps watching some quality cricket might help England

I'm guessing KP is busy trying to find a journo to speak to https://twitter.com/KP24

Well, looks like the big girl is doing a warm up and the Aussie team bus is getting stocked with cold ones....

As much as I hate to agree with Warne I think he nailed it, England should have batted and put a score up. Batting they needed confidence, chasing that total gave them no hope and no chance to settle into it, if they had knocked 250 and lost they might come out of this with a bit more. Morgan looks in trouble as the captain that can't be dropped. Highlight? Taylor and Woakes, especially for the fun couple of overs in the Powerplay.

"Thankfully, Taylor is 98 not out and not 98 and out. The letter of the law, as I understand it, is that the ball is only dead after he has reviewed it so James Anderson was right to be run out. Taylor batted beautifully and it was the only silver lining on a pretty grey day for England."

An explanation from Graeme Swann

still nothing to write home about

12.2 overs ๐Ÿ˜†

Never mind, they can still reach the quarters. Scotland will be smelling blood.

Woke up to listen to five live sports extra, however it wasn't on, had a message saying content unavailable. Any idea why? Thought TMS were doing commentary?

I assume Houns that the game was well over by the time you got up.

Looking at the positives, if England can manage to scrape through in 4th place in the group, they won't mind too much finishing there given the way the other group is shaping up.

Well the best and worst I can say is that is probably the most competitive England have looked so far...
Looked more like Day 1 of a test at some points.

2 out of 2 for the green machine. A last few balls win over the mighty UAE. ๐Ÿ™‚

I think SA have too many for WI to chase down - even if Gayle is in the mood.

Wow that's a big total already. I can't see them chasing it down either even if Gayle gets another double-hundred!

50 from 15 balls...
1 over to make 22 and get 400?

WOW!

I thought they might get to 360 with 5 overs to go!

409 to win.....no chance.
