i failed my 11 plus in 1974, we took it even though it would have no bearing on what school we went to (thankfully). Had i not been in the comprehensive system I don't think i would have ended up reading Aeronautical Engineering @ Bristol. 15/15 BTW

14/15 - Q15 did not make sense to me

5/15

Canny do numbers or see number patterns or anything. or puzzles. Very frustrating. I hate cards and chess. I forget the number I've just worked out and have to repeat it so many times I just give up.

But if some physical problem is in front of me I can see it in a way other folk can't. It's weird. Usually practical mechanical things.

On Q15 I saw a sequence where the diffs were 1,1,0,2 so I got drawn into thinking that it must be some variation on the Fibonacci sequence.

My 11 year old self wouldn't have had a clue what the Fibonacci sequence was and would have spotted the pattern straight away.

Woo Hoo! I'm 11. 😀
