Hour long episode apparently.
Are they going to come up with a plot where Ken, Kevin and Frank all get erased from time?
I'm just glad Jack didn't have to witness any of this unpleasentness

I forget to add Len to the list.
I can see Kev getting bumped off after a 14 year old escort he was working on fell on him but not sure about Ken.
As long as Michelle Keegan stays I don't mind.
You watch soaps..?
not sure about Ken
Murdered by the parent of a former pupil?
Maybe the Street should just be honest:
Bartender: Where's Ken? Anyone know?
[hushed silence, roving eyes, uncomfortable pause, knowing glances etc)
Northern Pub Dweller #1: Fuzz nabbed him.
Northern Pub Dweller #2: Yeah, turns out he was well dodgy.
Northern Pub Dweller #1: Nuff said, let's move on. Pie, scratchings and beer anyone?
Everyone: Bravo! How splendid!
[fade out to classic northern tune, like The Smiths' Bigmouth Strikes Again, but with plaintive trumpets]
Again, I sit in the room while my wife watches the soap but coronation street is a total babe-fest nowadays with Michelle, the page 3 girl and the hard looking one who runs the knicker place.
And to be honest, Emmerdale isn't doing bad at the moment with that farmers wife being a very nice looking mature lady, debbie dingle and the asian girl.
I managed to educate the not-then-but-now-wife out of her soap watching habit very early on in our relationship. Thank ****!
Cheers,
Jamie
FFS! Get out on your bikes while the sun is shining, instead of bothering about that shite! 😀
Coronation Street's streets ahead of any other soap. Why? because it is funny. There are some genuinely funny moments. Plus, of course, it is set on the correct side o't Pennines.
What would make it special would be if it was the last episode. Im with d45yth. Bike tinkering tonight ready for weekend riding in the sun.

Wrong on both counts. 'Tis neither funny nor on t'correct side o't pennines, tha knoz.
Mrs Engineer watches Emmerdale. What bits I've seen inevitably contain loud shouting and/or crying. Mind you, she is from Yorkshire.
At this point I could say the inevitable, "Name a Yorkshire comedian" (answer: Charlie Williams), but I won't .....
All the Emmerdale ^^^^ reminds me that I once watched a solar eclipse with Zoe Tate. True story. Random, but true.
