what accelerant did you use for BBQ lighting? - 1/2 a pint of white spirit and a blow torch. It smelt a bit 'painty' because the Hogaarden glass I normally used had been left on the side from the previous BBQ so I grabbed the nearest receptical.

She is coming home tomorrow. Yay!

She said I needed more salad and stuff so I treated myself to a take away

Downstairs is now cleaned. All rubbish in the bin, all surfaces wiped, all floors hoovered. Washing in the machine and dishes in the dishwasher.

Tomorrow I will do the same upstairs and wash and replace the bedding before picking her up at 10:45am

Easy*

*Much better when she is here though!

Well that was a flipping waste of time 🙁

1 hour before her operation time yesterday she phoned me in a bit of a state to say it had been posponed as part of the equipment needed for the Op had gone missing (turns out its a micro drive thingy that costs about £30,000!).

Now postponed till the 20th August, so she will have to build herself up for the Op again and endure 3 more weeks of horrible tremors 🙁

Got her back home last night, she was exhausted to the point where she could no longer hold her head up, still she slept through the night in her own bed.

Oh and as for me I didn't have much more than 10 minutes to myself as by the time I was back from the hospital & had eaten I was ready for bed.

WCA how's your wife doing?

I would think Mrs WCA has nothing to fear. Can you image the horrific injuries WCA would suffer were he to try and engage in sex?

Oh yes anything involving a physio seems to hurt, they always say its doing you good with a worrying smile!

I used to have a friend called "Dave the Physio" but after he 'worked' on my ankle I have someone I ride with called "Dave the Bastard"
