Any recommendations? Bit of life for kids (6 to 13) but not too commercialised / Butlins-ish. Good pubs / beaches / sailing / biking nearby
cheers all

Dont know if this fits the bill, or is even in the right part of cornwall but Henrys campsite on the Lizard, is without doubt one of the best campsites in cornwall. We head there sometimes to escape the crowds in our part of cornwall (north), as do many other locals.
Have a look at their website.

EDIT ^^^^^^ the post above...the picture on the front is henrys
the bike barn, facilities are minimal but its cool, you can ride down to the beach or over to Still Woods etc
I took the camper down there and it was ideal, doesn't break the bank ether.
thanks - that Henry's place looks good (I've got Cool Camping Europe but not the UK one). Will have a look at the Bike Barn too
+1 for Henry's. Hendra in Nequay is great for the kids. plenty to keep them occupied day and night but not as commercial/over the top/money grabbing as Butlins/Haven etc.

This is where my parents took me and I have taken my children, it is right above its own private beach.
