A lovely chap from STW gave me some dried chillies.
Now I normally cook them. This time I'm making a pasta sauce and I don't like it hot but hubby does, so the question is - can I put the chilli in at the very end without cooking it? (just when serving it up). Or, will I have to split the sauce into 2 pans, 1 for me and one for him?

It needs cooking for a couple more minutes after adding the chopped dried chilli. Then don't touch anything delicate (yours or his) without washing your fingers. Except as a dare.
