Saw that earlier, I'm not entirely sure the council workers would have got the joke! Quite funny though, played out over a year.

I like that.

To be honest, if people could be trusted not to mess up decent street art, I would quite like to see more of it. It just seems that it gets ruined by people scrawling random carp over it.

remember reading a few years ago about a train in Hannover. someone painted a new door and coloured in the original confusing the morning commuters. train staff went to the trouble of posting a note in the "door" window explianing that the door was in fact "not a door".

there is one opposite my place that says "Sorry about your wall" and another saying "Merry Christmas". makes me laugh.
