No you wouldnt be able to Rick. Getting spares for Wolf are a chore in its self. Not a bad design with the fold out hex but never really took off. Although funnily enough rinnai water heaters are going to start importing them so they can offer an all round package.

Thanks flux... It's 1975 vintage, so quite a trooper.

Combi boilers are kidney on eBay territory her in Germany and the one I would choose, w-Bosch are not available....

Why would you choose w-bosch? far better boilers out there and living in germany you have a choice of 2 of the best vaillant or viessmann.

Price mainly and w b were great in the UK.

Ours is oil btw.

21kw option for me was an oil boiler flux hutchison.

I went with a grant 28 vortex pro in the end , it just sits there doing what boilers do and not moaning when showers and taps are on.

Parents have a wb gas 42cdi combi in a 3 bed 2 reception 2 bathroom house installed in 2002.

It does 2 mixer showers at the same time without fuss.

Denis99 as an alternative why not install a heat only boiler and swap out your old tabk for a thermal store type one, these usually have a space for putting an immersion heater in which you could power via an Immersun connected to your solar pv panels!
