CamelBack Forge does exactly that for me, I've had mine years and it seems reasonably indestructible too.

These are awesome. Hot for hours and totally leakproof dropped in a bag.

4 hours and spill proof, surely a flask rather than a mug to contain your overbrewed drink that used to taste like coffee?

Still doing fine after three years of being kicked about footwells and car parks

I use a Klean Lantern insulated mug at work. If anything, it's too good at keeping drinks got.

I have two lids - the cafe lid for drinking on the go and the full life for when it's going to be thrown in a bag. If anytime is going to break it'll be the lids, so I like that I can buy replacements easily.

The “Cafe Cap 2.0” doesn’t leak in a bag so can replace both the ones you have in one.

I second this. £12 in Tesco. They are simple, bombproof, leakproof, keeps liquid scalding hot (especially if you pre-warm it), fits in standard cup holders. Really good kit.

I'm still drinking tea out of mine that I made at 7.30am this morning.

I use a Bodum one, its actually a bit dangerous, I think its about two hours old and end up burning my mouth!
Do you have a TK Maxx/Home sense anywhere near, they have loads of these things all the time?

Bodum are great for general use, but not leakproof in a bag though

I have a Zojirushi Stainless Steel Leak Proof Vacuum Insulated Travel Mug. It’s really very good.

I see amazon want £37 for them just now - I’m pretty sure it didn’t cost me that much a couple of years ago.

Edit - the do seem to have other colours and sizes than I bought for a more reasonable £25. I’d happily buy one at that. Really, very good. Hot for ages, good locking no-spill cap, good to drink from

watch out for the dodgy seal, the replacement they sent is perfect. I reckon there must've been a bad batch out there.

I have tried many but the best I've found BY FAR are the zojirushi ones. Leak proof, retain heat very well, easy to drink from, easy to clean, spare parts available,...

I think I've got the 2.0, but not 100% sure. I trust it in the side pouch of my bag, if I'm keeping it upright, but not inside. There are a couple of little notches on one part of the lid that I may have out by 90degrees after cleaning...

Contigo. Survive coming off roof of car at 20mph (not me). Made tea in mine prior to 4 hr car journey. Was nicely drinkable temperature shortly after arriving at destination. Have had couple and not experienced the lid seal issue like bruneep.

+1 (or 2 or 3)

Had mine for a couple of years - no leaks, keeps hot (keeps hot much better if you brim fill it like all containers) you can treat them pretty horribly and they are fine. Got one for the missus too as she keeps stealing mine..

Plus, right size for car cup holders and not too tall as i've found with some others.

Contigo here, 10 quid at asda. Be careful I burnt my top lip drinking too hot tea. It really hurt. Got a few now and use them all the time.
