Are there any good deals out there for club bank accounts at the mo - it'll be a fairly low volume account with only a couple of debits per month at most, staying in credit etc. Something that pays a half decent interest rate would be nice too as it'll have a grand or 2 balance most of the time, but I don't think there's a branch of the "Bank of the Moon on a Stick" nearby.
you're better off just doing it through a personal account.
its a lot less bother.
Sorry personal accounts aren't an option - we want continuity in the account as & when the signatories change.
Surely the Bank of Nigeria can offer you a decent rate ?
Do it through a personal account - nice joke !
I set up our club as a Charities/Clubs account with RBoS not a heap of interest but low charges and they keep away from me.

low interest rates admittedly but no charges and they leave me alone.
Our club uses a Barclays clubs/societies account. Dual signature cheque book, online access (view only), and nowt else really. You can have pretty much whatever setup you like. No charges, and probably no interest. If you're bothered about interest, set up a seperate savings/holding account to store the bulk of your money, and just keep a working sum in the current account. Transfer as and when needed.
