Potential future leader of the party I reckon. Has the "soft left" background which may attract some swing voters back, and is more media-savy than Corbyn.

I've always thought that a progressive alliance with SNP, the Lib Dems and some of the regional parties would be the best thing for the UK. One step closer to proportional representation and democratic reform.

Seems like a rising star to me.

I'm all for a progressive centre-left alliance, a one party state benefits no-one.

The last coalition was a massive improvement on what could have been as the Lib Dems seemed able to manage the worst excesses of Tory nastiness. Shame for them that one issue of having to go back on tuition fees meant such a kicking at the last election.

I'd welcome a more collaborative approach.
