New to selling on forum, just got a couple of small bits and thought I would give it a go. If selling items which are going to be posted, how do people sort out payment, is it privately through paypal or bank tranfer or something else entirely?

Generally paypal. 'Gift' option for small items or trusted sellers to save fees. Sometimes bank transfer, even a cheque once.
Thanks going to have to look into paypal then, I have only ever used it for ebay stuff thus far!
I have paid via Paypal, cheque, bank transfer and meeting at a location.
I´ve bought a few bits from here, always used paypal gift since the sellers were regulars here and I never bought anything big. I live in Spain so local pickups aren´t an option,
I wouldn´t have any problem buying a full bike or frame but then I´d pay the paypal fees for the insurance.
Have always made it crystal clear in ad that I only accept bank credit transfer, cheque, cash or meet up in person.
I don't do Paypal and have no wish to either.
