Trying to upload, done exactly as I’ve done before, uploading from my photo gallery. Won’t work. Is it just me, if so any advice?
Your images are too large.... Resize or compress them and I'd bet it will start working again (you could test this theory with a small image). I'm not sure what the limit is but last week the same was happening to me with no indication why. Source images were 12Mb! One compressed they worked. Why the site can't either tell you the reason for the failure or resize on upload I'm not sure.
Now the more serious question is why location data is not stripped from photos uploaded to the classifieds!
So…used 4G instead of WiFi and worked straight away!
I gave up and sold on eBay.
So it's not just me! I've tried everything and it still doesn't work.
I gave up eventually too, tried uploading all sorts, pictures of the things and then other images, big, small, different formats, and just writing 'pm me for actual photos' but nothing would upload and it wouldn't let me post without one
Before I found the image size was an issue I tried WiFi and 4G from phone and WiFi from pc as well as several browsers in the pc.
Couldn't prove it but I think moving pictures are also an issue. The image picker lets you pick .mp files in android but I'm not sure the upload can handle them. Thinking about it the resizing would also have made them normal images.
My images are 1.2mb jpgs. Thats not large!
I still pine for the old classifieds.
Same here. Tried to post on the Weekend/midweek ride thread. 'Image too large'. NO IT IS NOT! Now the editor has changed to some basic thing.
Again I question why I'm paying for this pile of poo. 🙄

[Mod] Tech has been alerted to this issue.
Went to test my theory again to find the create add page is completely stuffed now. Error is the JS causing it to fail to load correctly.
I've been trying to create an ad for a shakedry jkt for nearly 2 weeks but the image continually failed to upload - different images, browsers and devices - no joy.
Finally got it uploaded and sold it about 20mins later. On Vinted.
Trying and failing to upload further pics of my bargain ragley marley and fails every time 🙁
