My husband sent me this earlier. It's ace. And I definitely remember it, even though I was only 11 when it came out.

Check out the first comment 😆

And then I found this one:

First person to post the Smash advert gets a hoof in the slats 😉

Budweiser ads with the Chameleons spring to mind.

The Hamlet (IIRC - or was it Heineken???) advert with the Aborigine throwing boomerangs - it was the first time I had seen an advert split over multiple slots in an ad break. Each part showed him throwing the boomerangs (and not coming back) and the final slot showed them all coming back at once and pummelling him.

It was really clever as the viewer had no idea what was going on after the first two slots - just this random bloke throwing boomerangs with absolutely no branding visible.

Edit - found it (and it was Heineken)

Why do people post youtube links without embedding or without a description?

Perhaps because they don’t know how to.

Perhaps because they don’t know how to.

They don't know how to type either before or after the link what it is? I find that rather unlikely.

Well if you embed it there’s a description on the video title but seems not everyone can embed a link Mister P. 😆
