So I was JWA The Bridges in Edinburgh across from Nat Library and I spot a jakey fiddling* with a bike, defo not his as it was bordering on hipster chic, oldskool steel and he's a local jake with poly bags and all the trimmings: anyway before I get a chance to say anything some other citizen has intervened and told him to leave off.
It's the start of something. It really is. Really.

Once did that myself in Glasgow (only said jake had bust the cheap "lock" and was about to ride off). Hope the owner returned to find their bike and broken lock still there...
