I’ve joined and made a rush decision yesterday on the way I am tackling (or not) weight issues.

Of course it’s simple as kindly mentioned a few posts or so up. Still, not the thread to go into it that deeply, I’ll see at Christmas if my latest effort has worked 😎

Just worked out the formula went out of sync and was reporting average weekly reduction for the line above each user from about line 58. i.e. twonks weekly reduction was based on my weights, and so on. So values have changed (correctly) for the last few people.

Not sure what went on with my weight in week one- big 2.5kg drop seemed a bit unrealistic to me, I must have weighed myself after eating for the first weigh in.

Anyway, a sensible 0.5kg drop this week. It's bloody good outside though, I'm wondering if now is the time to lose insulation!

Slight gain up to 80.2kgs this week, must have been all the cake and sweets being handed out at work. Must make a concerted effort this next week to make up for it.

All formular are correct. "FB_ATB" your target weight is higher than your starting weight, is your plan to join Chub Club and put on weight 😉 May be he's correct and we all have this wrong!

The 70kg was my target for the end of Sep, so want to maintain that level now I’ve got there.

Weight on the up a bit again this week. Not too worried as I seem to have got my exercise mojo back, just need to stay off the the booze (as I finish off a bit I bottle of red).

Enjoying my cycling, the gym, swimming and walking. Need to - finally - get my running shoes on.

Probably stagnant or up but I leave it until Sunday morning for my "official" reading, best of Fri/Sat/sun weighins 🙂
After next week I'll have a lot more spare time which hopefully will mitigate the effects of my OH's ice-cream / bread making and my inability, in the main, to resist the delicious results.

Thanks to things getting a bit stressful I've been eating quite a few snacks and not getting out on the bike as much as I should so my weight this week is the same as I was at the beginning! Lost a kilo in week 1 and have now put it all back on. Must be more disciplined from now on.

Down only 200g here, but given I'm also doing the 100 Day Challenge I'm a lot leaner and have been eating a lot just to keep myself fuelled.

In real money I'm down another pound to 11st4 which is getting there.

Up at 88.9KG this week, I'm really struggling to kick the comfort eating and get back on the Keto. Weights session on Monday went well but Tuesday's Hill Intervals on the treadmill had me blowing out of my arse at 5KM and binning it. As a consequence of the ultra-low carb intake for a couple of days I had absolutely no energy on Wednesday so the HIIT session didn't happen and I couldn't summon up the arsed for Thursday's Hill Intervals either. At least the dog got a good long walk instead. Weights today, hopefully it won't be a day of failures...

Forgot last week's weigh in, was dealing with more stuff here. Down 0.7kg on 2 weeks ago which is a step in the right direction I guess. Haven't done anything at all differently though. Once I manage to motivate myself to start doing something it should help, but that's the difficult part for me unfortunately.

Similar story, very busy at work and just gobbling down what is to hand...so happy just to see a tiny decrease!

Same as last week, no gain but no loss either. Must try to motivate myself and make a conscious effort this week to get a decent loss for next week's weigh in

80.4kg today so 0.6 lost since last week. Still haven't got back to my lowest so far but I'm determined to keep getting out on the bike and really cut down on the cheeky snacks. Being in lockdown really isn't helping as it's far too easy to go for a quick walk and end up getting a fizzy drink and a chocolate bar on the way back!

83kg this morning so up from last week 😡 Must be all the exercise I’m doing, all the fat turning to muscle 🙄 (nothing to do with all the biscuits I’ve pinched this week!)

A Halloween scare for me when my weight went up but a good healthy loss this week so I'm in the same kg as my goal - 70.8 💃💃💃

Down half a kilo but seem to be stuck in this zone. Need to ride more but the weather has been dire and the forest is a quagmire.

0.9kg down this week, another small loss but still heading the right way.

A small creep upwards to 80.7kg, mainly due to spending loads of time on the computer doing job search stuff while drinking lots of sugary drinks (tea and Pepsi...) rather than out on the bike.
Thought it would be worse so not too unhappy.

Lockdown means I haven't done any big climbing or distance days on the bike either but lockdown finishes on Monday and my new smart turbo trainer has arrived so absolutely no excuses from now until the final weigh-in!

Managed to shift a bit this week - can't have hurt dissuading the OH from making ice cream / more sourdough and leaving the wine alone (after last weekend where we got through a bottle of prosecco between us for reasons unlikely to repeat any time soon).
And salad & falafel, or soup, for the evening meal seems to help too.
Onwards!!

Yay! 2KG down this week. It’s taken me a while but I’m back in the Keto groove again. Hopefully this is the start of my return to my target weight.

Poor show from me this week! Nearly back to my starting weight even with exercising everyday and 160km on the bike. I have hovered around this weight since August and just can't seem to get under it!!!!!

Pretty sure I've been more active this week but only a smidge off on today's weigh in 🤷‍♂️

Not part of official chub club but lost 11kg since 28th September. Cut out booze (mostly) pasta, bread, spuds while reducing calories. Carbs mostly coming from leafy vegetables and a few pulses. Lots of fish and curries with cauliflower rice and basically anything I can chuck coconut milk or creme fraiche into.

Down to 80.3kg this week, only a small drop but I have noticed a large drop in the ft round my midriff. Have started to do a bit of weight work on top of the bike rides/turbo workouts so I'm presuming I've switched a bit of fat for a bit of muscle.

Might put all off that 300g back on later though as a neighbour has just dropped off a load of homemade biscuits as a thank you for helping them out earlier in the week, they smell and look gorgeous!

Pants few weeks involving mum having surgery, son struggling at school and new puppy depriving us all of sleep and sanity. I've run twice in about four weeks... excuses aside, I've given up alcohol for a bit. Weight has, surprisingly, remained the same.

Well done to those staying on target and staying determined. You inspire the rest of us!

Gone back to my weight of 3 weeks ago. Not hugely surprising, been stressful few weeks as under consultation with work. Just found out still have a job so might have had a bottle of beer and wine or 2... Good luck all.

I seem to be stuck hovering around the 80kg mark. Had a good week this week with a few good rides and only one treat as my mum baked a cake for my visit. What is encouraging though is that the fat round my belly is dropping so I can only presume the fat is being replaced with a bit of muscle from me doing some weight-bearing exercises. Hopefully I'm just at a plateau so it should start to drop again if I keep at it.

I have also noticed that being unemployed means I use far less energy over a week than I normally do, the downside to no longer having a physical job I suppose.

I bring some hope in the form of half a kg lost. Apparently discouraging the OH from making ice cream and bravely saying "No" to more than 2 slices of the sourdough at one time has paid off.
HOWEVER
the time of Xmas cake and pudding draws near so I shall have to be very very careful in the next few weeks...

Chub Club...hang your chub in shame...there's now only 14 of us left! according to last weeks weigh in. I'm in at 84.3kg this week, having good results by zero sugar and no beer. How's everyone doing? Still a few weeks to make this happen.

Not good- been creeping up- succumbing to the canteen at my new job. However, now WFH cos Covid so hopefully will reverse the trend. May not hit target, so I'll have something to aim for next year!

Managed to shave off a whole 0.1kg but it's Thanksgiving weekend in our house so next week will be a total disaster. 😳

I'm jumping in - need some public encouragement(shame) to shift this spread. Beer has been band from the house until xmas day.
