...the application. Filling out the on-line application for a secondary school and there is section for putting in reasons and or additional comments. Basically the school is the best of a bad bunch but I have nowt to say really.
Will this effect the application or is it best to write some sort of bullshite to push the things along.?

Maybe do a bit of research on what if anything it specialises in, what religious affiliations it has, how likely it is to be oversubscribed, sport specialities etc.
Basically, try and find out what its good at and then make sure your application looks like your daughter will be a positive addition to the school on these terms.
