Looking for some nice chocolates .
My fav used to be Holdsworth Chocolate but they been mass produced for ages and the quality disappeared.
Have also had Iain Burnett Highland Chocolatier ones which are nice, but can be a bit hit or miss and very expensive
Any recommendations for small non mass produced companies ?

I really enjoyed a milk chocolate Toblerone at Easter... But I'm easily pleased on the sweets/choccy front.

I like Montezuma's 100% coaco, it's not really like chocolate though. I like it even better now I know it's British and made by a mountain biker. Must stock up.

I don't mind spending on decent chocolate, and got bought a selection pack from Cocoa Runners a couple of years ago. Now I'm ordering 5-6 bars every month or so. They sell "craft" choc, so small producers, bean-to-bar production, from all over the world.
Again not cheap but a world of difference from anything you can get in a supermarket.
We did a "virtual tasting" with them recently - you buy the pack for the guided tasting and it's run over Zoom. Interesting to learn how most choc comes from the same mass plantations in West Africa, gets bought an processed by a few giant companies who then sell to lots of manufacturers. Presenter was quite scathing about most brands, even some that have ethical branding. Montezuma's were an exception, as were Willies - both have more ethical supply chains.

There is. MTB and CX. I think they might also have something to do with the Clanfield CX/MTB venue though might be wrong about that.
You could always go to the chocoloterium in edinburgh and make your own/sample a whole bunch.
Haggis spiced was weird
My good chocolates of this week are six huge tubs of Heroes found in a skip. They’re three years out of date but apart from the Wispa’s and Twirl’s are very nice!
