To my mind it's just about the saddest thing I've ever seen.

Lil Grips counted to four today. Four items correctly counted spontaneously without being asked ๐Ÿ™‚

I'd like to know what it's like for the siblings.

It was the parents that frightened me more than anything, poor kids.

But as a parent, what do you do? It's hard to know what's best.

You let your kid be themselves.

You can show them what's cool and interesting, but you can't (or shouldn't) make them do anything.

Those little actuaries were scary. Like the little painter though, he was cool

Only had half an eye on it - was teaching our kid differential calculus when it was on.

I thought a lot of the kids seemed surprisingly well-adjusted tbh. It was only really that chess protege who seemed a bit sad. He was clearly off the charts intellectually.
