Anyone got some bombers to hand and a nearby G&G?

for the second time, at the last minute (day), C&G have effectively pulled out of a mortgage deal. First one was because our survey was out of date, and they only noticed on the day the cash should have been with solicitors.

So we re-do the survey with the vendor, us picking up the extra cost as we felt like we were messing the vendor round.

Today, when we should have completed again, they have decided that due to our application going in with one department, when it should have been with another, that they will not honour our mortgage. And it is call centre muppets time to try and get it resolved.
So I have a signed, legally binding contract for them to supply a mortgage, on a specific property, on a specific date - and they won't honour it.
We need to re-apply via another department (same forms, we lose our booking fee) if we want a mortgage.
It is Scotland so I legally have to complete the purchase, and am now liable for all sorts of costs.
My solicitor has sent them a fax/letter today suggesting they are now liable for all our costs and all our vendors costs.
We still don't have the property we were wanting to buy, and tenants cannot move in as agreed (thankfully verbally, we had not signed a contract) and vendors cannot complete on new house purchase.

pwnage time with some bombers.
