Does anyone have any experience of using the cheaper generic suspension trainers from Amazon etc? Accident waiting to happen or is the TRX just overpriced. Cheers!

I have the £15 Decathlon one and it's great.

Crane sports/Lidl one here. Better than the real thing.

Another Decathlon "TRX-alike" user here. Works fine.

Fantastic news, thanks. That’s saved me a fair few quid.

How do you secure them? Our house has lots of stud walls so not that robust 🤔

Some have an attachment you shut in the door. Seem to work ok provided the door is solid and preferably opens away from you

I just use it outside - nowhere suitable in our flat 🙁

Locate the studs and screw into them?

I could never work out how trx could justify the price for a few metres of webbing and some buckles. I have one for Aldi I think.

@footflaps & @midlifecrashes - thanks

I think the bigger issue would be getting approval to mount such an ugly think on the wall. I could always do it in the garage though

Say its for a sex swing but until it arrives you'll work on your killer bod to maximise potential of said swing.

You put the bracket on the wall/ceiling, and get one of those deep unframed canvas picture things to hang from it when not TRX-ing. If it's on the ceiling, a macrame pot plant holder for the 70s vibe, or hollow out a smoke alarm, no-one complains about them.
