Marcus Lush (unlikely monikered TV and radio broadcaster here in NZ) a commited car-phobe he has a quiver of Surlys which he sneaks into his TV shows, recently a powder pink 1X1 and a green Karate Monkey. usually does a few shots to camera with a surly Tee on too. youtube him he's pretty interesting.

Billy Childish. Stretching the term celebrity a bit but have seen him tootling around on a couple of occasions on some vintage steed. Wearing tweed...probably, although I may have imagined that. Also did an album named after his Mum's old cycling club.

Jo Brand.

I was standing behind her at London Recumbents in Dulwich a few years ago - I think she was picking up her bike (and they don't sell pies)

Duff McKagan from Guns n Roses is a keen mountainbiker. Read an article about him in MBA years ago, and somewhere else more recently.

I sold Curly Watts a bike when I worked at Neil Walton's in Didsbury!

Tim Commerford - Rage / Audioslave bassist has an Intense Uzzi VPX - according to his blurb! On the Audioslave Cuba DVD he basically tries to ride off everything!

A lot of the Motorcycle Grand Prix riders are keen cyclists, both on and off road. A lot of them do it just for fitness, but some are committed cyclists.

Nicky Hayden (former World Champ - sponsored by Specialized)
Casey Stoner (former World Champ)
Ben Spies (hangs out with pro-riders when he's in Europe)
Randy de Puniet
Bradley Smith (took on Jensen Button in the London Triathalon)
Scott Redding
John Hopkins (sponsored by Specialized)
Ben Bostrom (AMA rider - just done La Ruta de los Conquistadores)
Anthony West (keen downhiller)

Never seen Valentino Rossi on a bike though...

As far as I'm aware, Dr Alice Roberts is living with a male archeologist. I suppose it's an easy mistake to make, most anthropologists who ride bikes and drive VW buses are lesbian, after all.
