Is it possible to put a different strap on a G-Shock watch, eg a normal 'Animal' type velcro one? My lady-wrists are usually too skinny for chunky type straps, and I prefer the adjustability of velcro

cheers

Probably depends on what type of G-Shock you've got, I've done it before although that was with a slide where the plastic strap could be squeezed out.

You can buy adapters for some g shocks. Sadly not for mine so I will have to stump up silly money to fix the chunky but brittle plastic one on mine.

Thanks WHISN, good STW style reply!

They arent adjustable to the degree I need, you havent seen how skinny my wrists are, and I dont want to be cutting the end off a plastic strap and putting extra holes in it.

Anyway, if I'd wanted a plastic strap, why would I have started this thread... 😉
