What cars are you hankering after atm?
Mild realisim at least encouraged

personally I want something with the Alfa 'Arese' V6 with the chromed front pipes

Probably a 147 GTA with a Q2

got another 3 years on the current car before that though 🙁

I would quite like a new Discovery. But that is very unlikely at the moment.

I need an ultra reliable small engined diesel that does lots of miles to the gallon and will eat up the miles with minimal work on it.

What I want is a shorter commute and a pickup.

Blimey - a Marina Coupe with a rag top.

Dreadful.

More than anything in the world, I want of these :

Mercedes Fintail

And :

Vauxhall Magnum 2.3

Anyone got either for sale ? .....serious question btw.

This used to be my number one "want" car, but I've got one now
(although it's been with a mechanic for well over a year) :

[img] [/img]

And one day when I'm really rich and got a huge garage, I want one of these :

[img] [/img]

.....one day, one day [img] [/img]

Well, seeing as there is a "classic" slant today...
I have ALWAYS wanted one of these, and I actually saw one parked up the other day which makes the hunger all the fresher...

I've wanted a Renault Clio V6 255 for quite some time. I suspect I will never have one. 🙁
Similarly with a Lancia Delta Integrale
Possibly a Skoda Yeti tho...

Could buy right now: Honda Civic Type R (Yeah, I realise the current version is considered lacking compared to the previous model, but I like them)

Medium term aspiration: VW Scirocco

Pipe Dream: Audi RS4 Avant

Parallel Universe in which I can afford to run a weekend fun car: Ford Mustang

I've been watching American Hot Rod..
[img] [/img]
I have a couple of contacts keeping an eye out, but they are soo expensive even for a rust bucket.

Mini with a decent engine..
[img] [/img]
Still want one after modifying my checkmate.

One of these for long journeys and some bike duties.
[img] [/img]

Oh and some sort of camper van, but bigger, converted lwb sprinter or something along those lines.

Or maybe someone over here might wise up to people wanting to take stuff with them when they leave the house.

But for fun:

but RHD, never seen a polished one in the flesh.

I'd take ernie's options.

Or a new VW Scirocco.

Or, and preferably,

[img] [/img]

(Merc 300SL Roadster if I can't get the pic to work. In red. MMMMMMMM.)

I've got one of these

But for full on panzerwagen impact, what I'd really love would be one of these:

I keep looking at these:

I had an '03 plate Coupe 2.0SE. Lovely car and good fun.

I prefer the Series III now though. I miss that car. Reminded me of the Capri in that it was an affordable "sports car."

No longer hankering after cars as I've had enough lovely cars to last several lifetimes, they just get ms from a to b nowadays.

Having said that, I just saw my first Evoque on the road this afternoon, I was quite taken with it...

I'm a man of simple pleasures:

I was about to ask what the hell it was, until I eventually saw the H label. In that getup it looks like one of those awful MR2-based F355 models... 😉

Nice car though

If I could find, in good condition, a practical classic, then one of these, please:
[img] [/img]
Vauxhall Chevette HS 2300
[img] [/img]
Sunbeam Talbot Lotus. Mmmmmm, yes please.
On a slightly less practical level, I'd dearly love one of these:
[img] [/img]
1950's Ford F100 Stepside.
And at the totally insane level, one of these would look nice outside the house:
[img] [/img]
Oooooooooo, God, yes, yes YES!
'71 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda.
