Anything betterer/cheaperer than izettle?

Or any reason to not use izettle?

Tis for taking initial payments at a Martial Arts school, so v. low use/amounts.

Cash, it seems, is no longerer kingerer.

https://sumup.co.uk/

I had a chat with a couple of folk at a craft fair over Christmas and they said that sumup was cheaper than iZettle.

Looks like prices has are closer together now. IIRC PayPal bought iZettle but the iZettle is cheaper than PayPal's own reader to buy and in terms of charges.

I went with PayPal as it's one less account (already have one which I use a lot for buying/selling). Slightly higher fees I think, although money is available instantly which is a bonus.

iZettle accepts more weird cards plus is quite often available v cheaply if you keep an eye in HUKD. The reader also looks way cooler IMO!! PayPal phone support is a lot better although never used it personally.

We went for Paypal reader as like Zilog we already had a Paypal account in place.

The battery on the card reader is shite though. So if you're out and about make sure you have a portable charger too.
