So I have been paying car tax monthly by direct debit. I am reasonably sure I cancelled the dd a few weeks back with a view to changing to annual and I certainly can not find a dd.
When I go to the gov car check website it says it is taxed to 1st Dec 2024.
When I go to the gov pay your car tax website it says I have not paid my car tax.
Pretty sure they have a bug, shock horror but very poor show all the same
Have you cancelled the DD too early and missed a payment from Dec 2022-23?
I don't believe so. But that wouldn't make sense, to Mr at least.
I don't need the car today so will wait for tomorrow and see what it says
Print a copy of the doc that says you've payed until next year. If questioned, produce that.
You do have the important stuff like insurance and MOT , I take it?

I'm guessing that site is still in Alpha? Been like that for years.
